It is important to understand the health and physical challenges you may face while on The Kilimanjaro Experience™ and while climbing Kilimanjaro, so before beginning your expedition through your use of our services, please ensure you read, consider, and understand the information provided below.

The itinerary you have received (or will receive) is to be understood as an indication of what each journey aims to accomplish, and not as a contractual obligation on our part. Our journeys are adventurous challenges that involve inherent risk and are subject to the influence of numerous factors that may prevent the successful completion of the intended goal.

With proper preparation and careful attention to safety, climbing Kilimanjaro can be a truly inspiring experience. These conditions, in conjunction with the information provided to you by our coordinators via other means of correspondence, form the entire agreement between Ultimate Life Climb, its affiliates (collectively known as ULC), and yourself. When you consent to participate in the adventure, you accept and have the authority to accept these conditions.

Adventure Reservations and Payments:

A deposit of 50% per person is required at the time of booking the ULC Inspedition, if not paying in full. The remainder of the booking fee for the Inspedition is due 45-60 days prior to your departure date. Accepted methods of payment include credit card, PayPal, or certified check. We will accommodate last-minute reservations if possible.

All products, services and prices posted are in US dollars ($USD).

Prior to tour departure, all cancellations must be in writing. ULC will retain a percentage of the trip cost dependent upon the receipt date of the cancellation notice. If you cancel your trip:

• 91 days or more before departure: All costs are refundable.
• 90 to 61 days before departure: 50% of ULC’s package rates are non-refundable.
• 60 to 46 days before departure: 75% of ULC’s package rates are non-refundable.
• 45 days or less before departure: 100% of ULC’s package rates are non-refundable.

Within 90 days prior to departure cancellation fees will apply. You may also be responsible for any fees imposed by hotels, airlines etc., that are over and above your land arrangements, due to the cancellation of your original date bookings. Please consult your agents/bookings for cancellation policies outside of the ULC bookings and arrangements.

ULC and all other associated parties, firms, or corporations cannot be held responsible for delays, loss, damage, injury or accident, change of itineraries that may occur through the negligence of any individual or company entrusted with such service.

ULC cannot be held responsible should airlines discontinue flights on certain routings or change scheduled timetables resulting in missed connections, etc. Should an amendment in a routing or itinerary be necessary, we will support you accordingly.

Please be advised to take precautions against malaria prior to the commencement of your journey. We recommend you contact your local physician.

At the time of writing this agreement, travelers are required to present a negative COVID-19 test certificate before boarding the plane and upon arrival into Tanzania. The test must be a Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test. If your test produces a positive result, ULC will not offer a refund of any kind. Upon arrival, travelers must also take a rapid test at the point of entry. If your test produces a positive result, ULC will not offer a refund of any kind, but will, however, do everything in our power to assist you with local rules and regulations.
